Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master
I have pleasure in presenting my Annual Report on the Royal Ark Mariner Degree, covering the period from 1st September 2005 to the 31st August 2006.
Whilst I am pleased to report that the number of brethren Elevated and Joining has increased after having been static for the last two years, sadly resignations have also increased from the all-time low of last year.
The ‘Exit’ forms introduced last year have provided much valuable information to members of the Executive as to why brethren are resigning but, unfortunately, not all Scribes are ensuring these are completed.
May I therefore make a plea to all Scribes to ensure this form is completed as soon as a brother intimates he is resigning, and sent to the Provincial Grand Secretary as soon as possible?
Finally brethren, it is always pleasing to report good news! Many congratulations to East Hertfordshire Lodge and Ayot Lodge which both elevated five candidates during the year.
