I have pleasure in presenting my Annual Report for the period 1st September 2006 to the 31st August 2007.

I can again report that our membership is strong, and, with a 20% increase in members entering our Order and fewer deaths and resignations we had a net increase in subscribing members of 21.

Only 15 Secretaries submitted an ‘Exit’ form so I would repeat my previous plea to all Secretaries to ensure this form is completed as soon as a brother intimates he is resigning, and sent to the Provincial Grand Secretary as soon as possible.

My detailed report on the Royal Ark Mariner Degree was tabled at the recent Provincial Assembly of Royal Ark Mariners, when I was able to report that the number of brethren Elevated had remained the same as last year but so had the number lost through deaths and resignations etc.

You will appreciate that, by the time I deliver it, this report is already out of date. But we now have the new Provincial Database up and running that can deliver real-time information and will undoubtedly be a valuable tool in years to come. However, the data inputted must be accurate so, brother Secretaries, please make sure all your returns etc are completed correctly.
