Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Hertfordshire

The John Burr Lodge of Mark Master Masons was Consecrated by R W Bro Keith Emmerson in 2002.

It is named after V W John Burr who had been Deputy Provincial Grand Master in the Hertfordshire Craft Province. He was also a much loved Mark Mason who rose to the rank of Grand Overseer but who sadly died suddenly in 2001.

The Lodge was named in his honour and his widow Barbara presented the Lodge with its Bible. It is a meridian, peripatetic Lodge which meets once per year at St Albans and twice at other centres in the Province. All meetings are held in the morning.
