£11,000 Isobel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City
The Hertfordshire Mark programme to present cheques from the Mark Benevolent Fund to our region’s hospices has begun in earnest.
The first occasion saw the Provincial Grand Master, supported by the Provincial Grand Charity Steward, present a cheque for £11,000 to the Isobel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City.
A delighted Linda Cudmore, Community Fundraising Manager, Isobel Hospice, writes:
” It was a pleasure to welcome Richard Walker, Provincial Grand Master of the Hertfordshire Mark and David Horne, Provincial Grand Charity Steward to our In-Patient Unit in Welwyn Garden City. We hope it gave them a much better insight into the extensive nursing and support we provide our patients and families. Equally, we learnt a lot about the Mark Masons and really enjoyed the opportunity to ask many questions.
Your amazing donation of £11,000 will allow us to help many more people in your local community, who need us at the most difficult times in their lives. Your amazing gift could pay for……
A specialist bed and mattress at our In-Patient Unit
The cost of running our In-Patient Unit for over 48 hours
Our whole Living Well with Isobel service for 10 days”
Linda Cudmore, Community Fundraising Manager.
